A duty pharmacy is a pharmacy that is open and provides services outside normal working hours (evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays). They are determined by a specific rotation system for each neighborhood/district.
Weekdays: Generally 7:00 PM - 8:30 AM
Weekends: Saturday 1:00 PM to Monday 8:30 AM
Public holidays: 24 hours open
Duty pharmacy lists are updated daily. Information is obtained from the relevant Chamber of Pharmacists and renewed every day.

How do I find the nearest duty pharmacy?

- Select your province or district.
- If you have granted location access, pharmacies will be listed in order of proximity to you as the crow flies.
Where you see pharmacy information, you can click the "Directions" link to go directly to the directions screen with map applications.
Each pharmacy card includes a phone number. We recommend calling before going to confirm that it's open.

Do duty pharmacies carry all medications?

Duty pharmacies are required to stock basic medications. For special medications, it would be beneficial to call ahead and ask.
You can purchase over-the-counter medications (such as some pain relievers, vitamin and mineral supplements, cold and flu products) from pharmacies.

What should I do if I can't find any duty pharmacy?

- You can call 112 Emergency Services.
- You can go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
- You can call the Chamber of Pharmacists contact number.
Find the nearest one from the duty pharmacy list and call them. If it's not open, try other duty pharmacies.
- Call other duty pharmacies.
- Ask if there are equivalent medications.
- If it's not urgent, you can wait until morning.
- If it's vital, go to the hospital emergency room.
